Riverhead, New York

The Blue Q is available and in circulation at the Riverhead Free Library in Riverhead, New York.

As The Blue Q travelled along the eastern coast of the United States, it quickly became apparent why rest is a necessary aspect of success. Even the most trained and experienced of birds can find New York City to be overwhelming, though a slower-paced environment can be found along the calmness of the Peconic River, where we were fortunate to discover the city of Riverhead. The Blue Q toured the Downtown Historic Riverhead Trail, where we discovered how this city preserved its culture through the magic of storytelling. We immediately felt at home in Riverhead, and we are proud to have found the perfecting landing point at the Riverhead Free Library.

Every attempt we make to discover a new library which will accept The Blue Q into their catalogue, we do so with the purpose in helping others. The Riverhead not only embraces these same ideals and concepts, it aspires to serve the over 39,000 residents of the Riverhead School District in support of what is best for the greater community.
