The Blue Q is proud to support Earth Day around the globe! As part of our mission, we encourage all of our family, fans, friend, followers, and supporters to be a part of this worldwide movement and to join us in our 3-phase approach to our favorite day of the year!
Be a part of the Mission of The Blue Q! This Earth Day, we encourage you to participate in any of the 3 following ways: Nature, Action, Outdoors.
Nature: we are working on a special project with our friends and partners at the Fondo de Conservación El Triunfo A.C. in Chiapas, Mexico, who is providing a method in which we can become Ambassadors of the Quetzal and the Fog. More details coming soon.
Action: Ready for the The Blue Q’s Earth Day Challenge? We challenge you to find the biggest disposable bag available to you, then go outdoors (around your home, at a nearby park or forest area, etc.) and pick up as much of the trash or garbage that you see scattered on the ground. The birds are always watching, so let’s help them by ‘detrashing’ and proving that we also care about preserving our planet. Let’s work together to clean our Earth!
Outdoors: We want to encourage you spend time participating in an outdoor activity – biking, running, walking, kayaking, birdwatching or reading (bonus points if you share a pic with your copy of The Blue Q). The reason for Earth Day is to appreciate our planet, and there is absolutely no better way to do so then by spending time outdoors.
